Endocrinology Appointment
I got my blood drawn today at the endocrinology center (in a green syringe, the tune of blood remended me of Demon Slayer Demon blood).
Before that, the endocrinologist and I had a conversation on vaginoplasty, orchiectomy, surgery eligibility and the state of the state of Florida and the nation as a whole. Lucky, I'm still able to get HRT, he assured me. So I didn't need to ask for a 4 year supply of Estradiol after all. He said that estrogen is cheap and you'll be able to get it as long as you have a prescription.
The majority of the Facial Feminization surgeons are out of the building, I've learned this morning. Which is unfortunate, but I'll keep trying.
Before I met with the Dr, I was weighted by the nurse, I was like "oh no!". She chucked. I was 122.6 lbs. I really hoped that my jacket contributed at least a pound to that number, it couldn't all be me.
I did talk to the Dr about my weight gain, he told me not to worry about it and stuff, and that I could use a scale at home, but not to check too often. I was like, yes I do get obsessive. He also mentioned my history of weight issues (ana), and he said that with my height 122 is considered a bit underweight.
He also reassured me that extra Estradiol wouldn't be necessary because I'm already in mensurating woman range. And he said if a cis male had an orchiectomy he would begin to develop feminine fat distribution and breast, even before Estradiol (or something like that).
He made me feel better with all his reassurance and expertise. I thanked him a lot, and I also thanked all the staff that helped me during my appointment.
It was truly awesome! Thank you family, medical staff and friends!
P.s. I spotted a rainbow on my way out of the endocrinology center onto the blood draw lab. That was so universe coming together ♡
